Service Project Dates:       Matthew 25 Project  -  June 19 - 23, 2010

•  Crews will select one day to serve:  Sat. & Mon. - Wed. / June 19-23
•  To beat the heat, we strongly recommend that crews start early - 7am.
•  Most groups work until noon or 1pm, and then share lunch with their partners.
•  We are leaving Thursday (24th) open as a rain-out day.
•  Saturday will be a popular day, but please consider the Mon.- Wed. dates.
•  Crew Leader will contact Matt 25 Coordinator with potential dates.
•  Project Coordinator will assign group pairings and service day(s).
•  Crews will begin planning with partner group for service day.

Project Planning:

•  Painting supplies will be provided.
•  Each group is asked to contribute $100 for materials used at the                             project - Checks payable to: WJC / Matt 25 Project
•  House Captain will notify you if minor additional items are needed.
•  Groups can coordiante lunch plans. Share a picnic on site, or eat out.
•  Pastors or group leaders are invited to lead sharing time during lunch. 

Other Details:

•  Be sure to clarify whether your crew is covered by your group's insurance for mission trips or service projects of this nature. 
• Because of the nature of the work and our city partnership, guidelines stipulate that the youngest person on the worksite should have at least completed the 9th grade.
