As the Leader of my Group I agree to:

1. Prepare my group for, helping those in need, being a positive witness, and for a life changing experience. Youth group members will be assigned into different “Servant Crews.”   Crews will have at least 2 students from your church group serving together.


2. Bring only participants of the appropriate age/grade level. I understand that the project is for those who will have completed one of grades 7-12 by summer 2008. Adult sponsors should be 21 years old or above. College age students are also encouraged to be involved, as there are often needs for advanced crews.
 

3. Enlist capable adult leaders and bring one adult sponsor for every five youth. Sponsors must be 21 years-of-age or older. (One adult male for every five males or less; one adult female for every five females or less.)  Also help us identify adults to serve as “Crew Encouragers” on each crew.


4. Enlist Crew Chiefs: Men and women with the skills to supervise & equip students to do the actual home repair project. Most projects this year are scraping and repainting homes. Crew Chiefs are exempt from participant fees. We ask groups to provide approximately one crew chief for every 15 participants if possible.


5. Provide the Matthew 25 Office with a Group Information Form by May 1st This participant information is essential for insurance coverage and crew assignments. Send deposits and fees in a timely manner to the Matthew 25 Project Office at William Jewell College. Information and payment deadline - May 1st, 2008.
 

6. Be a part of the total Matthew 25 Project experience by: • Following all Matthew 25 Project responsibilities related to projects found in Matthew 25 Project Manual (sent after deposits received)  • Arriving at the project on time on the first day. • Attending all meetings & worship services related to the project. • Staying until the conclusion of the project. • Adhering to Matthew 25 Project dress code. • Being a spiritual leader.
 

7. Provide transportation during the project equal to the number of students I bring to the project.
